Originally, our development activities focused on renovating and rehabilitating the buildings that we purchased. For example, we have renovated some large single family multi-story buildings into buildings with three to five units. Plus, we have rehabilitated some buildings by replacing the windows, remodeling kitchens, replacing heating systems and many other improvements.
As part of the development process, we have become experienced with the construction project management function. When we are developing a building, we act as our own general contractor and also retain general contractors to help implement our vision for a building project.
